Delivery Policy

Peninsula Fishing Kayak Rentals offers convenient delivery and pickup of kayaks and related equipment to eligible locations across our service area. This policy explains booking cut-off times, delivery windows, fees, access requirements, and customer responsibilities.
Booking Cut-Off

All pick-ups or deliveries require a confirmed booking at least 18 hours before the kayak is required.

Bookings made less than 18 hours may be accommodated at our discretion but are not guaranteed.

Same-day delivery is not available unless expressly confirmed in writing by Peninsula Fishing Kayak Rentals.
Delivery and Pickup Window

Deliveries can take place between 5am and 1.30pm on the booked date.

A standard delivery window is typically between 6:00 am and 9:00 am. You will be able to request a specific delivery time, which we will confirm whether we are able to meet your requested delivery time the afternoon prior, but exact times may vary due to traffic, weather, and operational factors.
Delivery Areas

We deliver within our defined service area on the Mornington Peninsula and surrounding regions. This area is shown on the Services Page of our website. If you are unsure whether your location is covered, please contact us before booking.

Deliveries outside our standard area may be possible by arrangement and may incur additional fees.
Delivery and Pickup Fees

Delivery has a flat $40 fee within the available delivery areas shown on the Services Tab.

After-hours, public holiday, or narrow delivery window requests may incur additional charges.

You must provide accurate delivery and pickup addresses, including any access instructions (gates, unit numbers, parking restrictions).

The person using the kayak must be present to receive the equipment.

For unattended drop-offs, you accept responsibility for the equipment from the time of delivery confirmation.

Ensure safe, legal, and reasonably close vehicle access for our team. Beach or foreshore deliveries are subject to local regulations and site accessibility.

Any council or site access permits required are your responsibility unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Identification and Safety Handover

Photo ID will be required upon delivery or pick-up to verify your identity.

A brief safety and equipment handover will be conducted on delivery unless unattended drop-off is authorised. You are responsible for following all instructions and local water safety regulations.
Weather, Safety, and Unforeseen Delays

Deliveries may be delayed or rescheduled due to severe weather, road closures, or safety considerations. We will contact you as soon as practicable with updates and options.

Where we determine delivery or usage would be unsafe, we may suspend or cancel the delivery with a refund or credit in accordance with our Terms and Australian Consumer Law.
Changes, Cancellations, and No-Shows

Changes to delivery or pickup details must be requested before 3:00 pm on the day prior to delivery and are subject to availability, unless otherwise agreed.

Cancellations are subject to our Refund Policy. Late cancellations and no-shows may forfeit fees paid, including delivery fees.

If no one is available at the agreed time and unattended drop-off has not been authorised, we may leave with the equipment at our discretion and charge a redelivery/repickup fee.
Condition at Delivery and Return

Equipment condition will be recorded at delivery and pickup. You are responsible for the equipment from delivery to collection.

Cleaning fees may apply for returned equipment that is excessively dirty or wet beyond normal use.
Public Holidays and Peak Periods

Delivery services operate on public holidays and during peak periods subject to availability.

Booking as early as possible is recommended during peak demand.
